Fake News in Education & Science, the Rise of Modern Scientism
“So according to multiple witnesses (both secular and Christian), the earth is allegedly tilted at 23.4 degrees off of the center of a 90 degree angle. Well, 90 – 23.4 = 66.6. I suppose that’s probably just a coincidence. Or is it? See, this is the sort of thing that catches my attention. Because these are Antichrist clues and such clues always lead back to Apollo-Osiris-Orion-Nimrod… who I firmly believe is the Beast of Revelation that we call the Antichrist.”
~Rob Skiba, Excerpt: Gearing Up For Apollo: Part 1- Architects of a Spherical World
In response to the protestant reformation, a result of we the people reading the Hidden HisStory of the Holy Bible in honest translation for themselves without being dictated its meaning from the heavily corrupted Latin Vulgate, The Roman Pagan Catholic Church’s heliocentric “Science” received pushback from such famous Reformationist’s as Luther and others who could clearly discern that God’s word spoke of a Biblical Cosmology.
Rome eventually gave up it’s futile efforts to stop the Reformation (Bible Printing, trying to burn all the bibles and their owners with them), and decided on a strategy of infiltration called “Learning against Learning”. This was the creation of modern fake Scientism, and contributed greatly to “Fake News.” This decision caused, in my opinion, moreso than any other – the great falling away of the Christian faith spoken of in end times.
Context on Wolsey:
Cardinal Wolsey himself was known to associate with witches and occultists:
“FORTUNE TELLERS
Before witchcraft became a byword for evil, resulting in thousands of people being accused of using magic for ill and as a consequence being imprisoned or executed, the Tudors took an enthusiastic interest in ‘soothsaying’ or the art of prophesying. Elizabeth Barton (the Nun of Kent) was a self-proclaimed teller of divine revelations who enjoyed a brief moment of royal patronage when her skills at predicting future events became known to Henry via his right-hand man and religious advisor, Cardinal Wolsey. Barton was a 19-year-old domestic servant when her first prophecy about a child dying appeared to come true.
Her fame increased by the time she met Cardinal Wolsey and through him had meetings with King Henry himself whom she impressed with her revelations that suited his own beliefs and politics. However, Barton’s hallowed status as a gifted prophet soon turned against her when she prophesied that Henry would die within a few months if he married Anne Boleyn. Soon afterwards the ‘Mad Maid of Kent’ as Barton was also known, was found guilty of false prophecies and for being involved in a conspiracy to kill the King and hanged at Tyburn on 20 April, 1534.”Source – https://www.history.co.uk/articles/witchcraft-in-the-times-of-henry-viii-and-beyond

“Obviously, when looking back through history, we can find a handful of ancient mathematicians and philosophers who kicked around the idea of a globe based on observations and conclusions similar to those of Pythagoras and Eratosthenes, but it never really caught on in mainstream thought until you get to Copernicus. Galileo, Kepler and Newton.”

Copernicus – Founder of Modern Heliocentricity
For a time Copernicus lived in the same house as the principal astronomer at the university, Domenico Maria de Novara (Latin: Domenicus Maria Novaria Ferrariensis; 1454–1504). Novara had the responsibility of issuing annual astrological prognostications for the city, forecasts that included all social groups but gave special attention to the fate of the Italian princes and their enemies. Copernicus, as is known from Rheticus, was “assistant and witness” to some of Novara’s observations, and his involvement with the production of the annual forecasts means that he was intimately familiar with the practice of astrology.
~The Encyclopedia Britannica
Copernicus found heliocentrism in pagan writings and then began to write about it, got invited to meet the Pope Clement XII whom gave his personal approval of the heliocentric theory.
Copernicus spoke of Hermes, the godfather of alchemy in his work On The Revolution Of The Heavenly Spheres (1543), Ch. 10 saying “Trismegistus calls it a visible God” quoting Hermes.
Galileo, Newton & Kepler

Galileo – Roman Psyop
In response to honest translations from Erasmus, Rome’s Douay-Rheims Bible is the only bible to attempt to inject the word Globe for Earth’s cosmology, proof this was authorized Catholic dogma. (Isaiah 40:22) Not even the flawed Vulgate, from which it was translated, support this.
Another example of corruption is Proverbs 8:26 “The poles of the world” is a false translation.
In the Catholic world prior to Galileo’s conflict with the Church, the majority of educated people subscribed to the Aristotelian geocentric view that the earth was the center of the universe and that all heavenly bodies revolved around the Earth,[53] despite the use of Copernican theories to reform the calendar in 1582.[54] Biblical references Psalm 93:1, 96:10, and 1 Chronicles16:30 include text stating that “the world is firmly established, it cannot be moved.” In the same manner, Psalm 104:5 says, “the Lord set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.” Further, Ecclesiastes 1:5 states that “And the sun rises and sets and returns to its place.”[55]
Galileo defended heliocentrism, and in his Letter to the Grand Duchess Christina argued that it was not contrary to biblical texts. He took the Augustinian position that poetry, songs, instructions or historical statements in biblical texts need not always be interpreted literally. Galileo argued that the authors wrote from the perspective of the terrestrial world in which the sun does rise and set, and discussed a different kind of “movement” of the earth, not rotations.[56]
By 1615 Galileo’s writings on heliocentrism had been submitted to the Roman Inquisition, and his efforts to interpret the Bible were seen as a violation of the Council of Trent.[57] Attacks on the ideas of Copernicus had reached a head, and Galileo went to Rome to defend himself and Copernican ideas. In 1616, an Inquisitorial commission unanimously declared heliocentrism to be “foolish and absurd in philosophy, and formally heretical since it explicitly contradicts in many places the sense of Holy Scripture.” The Inquisition found that the idea of the Earth’s movement “receives the same judgement in philosophy and… in regard to theological truth it is at least erroneous in faith.”[58] (The original document from the Inquisitorial commission was made widely available in 2014.[59])
Pope Paul V instructed Cardinal Bellarmine to deliver this finding to Galileo, and to order him to abandon the Copernican opinions. On 26 February, Galileo was called to Bellarmine’s residence and ordered
… to abandon completely… the opinion that the sun stands still at the center of the world and the earth moves, and henceforth not to hold, teach, or defend it in any way whatever, either orally or in writing.
— The Inquisition’s injunction against Galileo, 1616.[60]
The decree of the Congregation of the Index banned Copernicus’s De Revolutionibus and other heliocentric works until correction.[60] Bellarmine’s instructions did not prohibit Galileo from discussing heliocentrism as a mathematical fiction.[61]
While I am not by any means a supporter of the Catholic Church, I will say they stood firm on the text of Scripture concerning this issue. My own studies have shown that Scripture in no way supports a model of the earth as a spinning globe, orbiting around the sun…
..It is obvious Galileo was picking up where Copernicus left off, who himself seemed to have been influenced by Pythagoras, who was influenced by Apollo. The same is true of Kepler. Indeed, that was the mode of that era:
European learning was based on the Greek sources that had been passed down, and cosmological and astronomical thought were based on Aristotle and Ptolemy. Aristotle’s cosmology of a central Earth surrounded by concentric spherical shells carrying the planets and fixed stars was the basis of European thought from the 12th century CE onward. Technical astronomy, also geocentric, was based on the constructions of excentric circles and epicycles codified in Ptolemy’s Almagest (2d. century CE).
Source: http://galileo.rice.edu/sci/theories/copernican_system.html
From this, we may see the fact that they had a variety of ideas to choose from, all originating with ancient Greek sources, some of which came to conflicting conclusions based on differing ideas and points of view. These later men of science thus had to wrestle with these things and through their own observations and testings, came up with new theories, based on their findings, which were derived from better instruments than what the ancients had to work with when coming up with their theories.
Kepler – Occultist
The very idea that the moon causes the tides came from Kepler, another occultist,
“it would seem that Kepler was influenced by ideas concerning the Greek god Apollo.
In 1594 Kepler accepted an appointment as professor of mathematics at the Protestant seminary in Graz (in the Austrian province of Styria). He was also appointed district mathematician and calendar maker. Kepler remained in Graz until 1600, when all Protestants were forced to convert to Catholicism or leave the province, as part of Counter Reformation measures. For six years, Kepler taught arithmetic, geometry (when there were interested students), Virgil, and rhetoric. In his spare time he pursued his private studies in astronomy and astrology…
…
…According to The Galileo Project website, Kepler taught Virgil for six years, while studying astrology in his spare time…Virgil also had a heavy influence on a man by the name of Charles Thomson. He’s the guy who worked on the Great Seal of the United States. Now go grab a U.S. one dollar bill, flip it over and read the motto, Novus Ordo Seclorum under the pyramid. That Latin phrase was taken from a line in the following poem by Virgil.
Muses of Sicily, let me sing a little more grandly…Now the last age of the Cumaean prophecy begins: the great roll-call of the centuries is born anew: now Virgin Justice returns, returns old Saturn’s reign, With a new breed of men sent down from heaven. Only favour the child who’s born, pure Lucina, under whom the first race of iron shall end, and a golden race rise up throughout the world: now your Apollo reigns.
* * *
He will take on divine life, and he will see gods mingled with heroes, and be seen by them, and rule a peaceful world with his father’s powers.
* * *
O dear child of the gods, take up your high honours (the time is near), great son of Jupiter! See the world, with its weighty dome, bowing, earth and wide sea and deep heavens: see how everything delights in the future age!
— Excerpts from Virgil’s Eclogue IV: The Golden Age
The original Latin phrase translated into English as, “The great roll-call of the centuries is born [or begins] anew.” in the first paragraph is: “Magnus ab integro seclorum nascitur ordo”. Thomson shortened this phrase to Novus Ordo Seclorum, which means, “A New Order of the Ages,” and placed it below the Great Pyramid on the Great Seal.
The phrase, Annuit Coeptus above the pyramid means “favors undertakings.” It is an incomplete statement, thus the subject must be supplied. Who is the one favoring and what undertakings are being favored? The iconography must be taken as a whole. Therefore, the meaning and answer to those questions is in the Great Seal itself. The “Eye of Providence” that sits hovering over the pyramid and between Annuit and Coeptus is better known as the “All-Seeing-Eye” of Horus-Osiris-Nimrod, and it serves as the best candidate for answering the question of “who” we are talking about here.
However, if we were to take it a step further and consider what (or who) “inspired” Charles Thomson to use this phrase, we must again look to his favorite poet, Virgil.
In Book IX of Virgil’s Aeneid, we find the Latin phrase, “Audacibus annue coeptis.” Essentially, it means, “Grant me success in this brave venture.” It is a prayer. To whom is the subject (in this case, Ascanius) praying? He is praying to his god, Jupiter/Zeus, asking him for victory in his battle against Remulus.
“All-powerful Jupiter, assent to my bold attempt. I myself will bring gifts each year to your temple, and I’ll place before your altar a snow-white bullock with gilded forehead, carrying his head as high as his mother, already butting with his horns, and scattering sand with his hooves.”
— Excerpt from Virgil’s Aeneid, Book IX
Note how we have Roman, Greek, Egyptian and Babylonian themes all on one “cypher” on the back of our currency. We must acknowledge that there is a great deal of information encoded in the symbols of our nation’s Great Seal — all of which is hidden in plain sight. Thus, we must be made aware that the “IN GOD WE TRUST” is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but rather the god(s) of the ancient, pagan world! Both Thomson and Kepler taught and were influenced by Virgil.
~Gearing Up For Apollo: Part 1- Architects of a Spherical World
“So, here we have Kepler reading Virgil. Virgil talks about praying to Jupiter and the rise of Apollo’s reign on earth. Then, after observing Jupiter, Kepler becomes a supporter of Galileo, for “metaphysical reasons,””
~Gearing Up For Apollo: Part 1- Architects of a Spherical World
Kepler’s teacher in the mathematical subjects was Michael Maestlin (1550-1635). Maestlin was one of the earliest astronomers to subscribe to Copernicus’s heliocentric theory, although in his university lectures he taught only the Ptolemaic system. Only in what we might call graduate seminars did he acquaint his students, among whom was Kepler, with the technical details of the Copernican system. Kepler stated later that at this time he became a Copernican for “physical or, if you prefer, metaphysical reasons.”
* * *
In 1610 Kepler heard and read about Galileo’s discoveries with the spyglass. He quickly composed a long letter of support which he published asDissertatio cum Nuncio Sidereo (“Conversation with the Sidereal Messenger”), and when, later that year, he obtained the use of a suitable telescope, he published his observations of Jupiter’s satellites under the title Narratio de Observatis Quatuor Jovis Satellitibus (“Narration about Four Satellites of Jupiter observed”). These tracts were an enormous support to Galileo, whose discoveries were doubted or denied by many. Both of Kepler’s tracts were quickly reprinted in Florence. Kepler went on to provide the beginning of a theory of the telescope in his Dioptrice, published in 1611.
Source: http://galileo.rice.edu/sci/kepler.html
So, here we have Kepler reading Virgil. Virgil talks about praying to Jupiter and the rise of Apollo’s reign on earth. Then, after observing Jupiter, Kepler becomes a supporter of Galileo, for “metaphysical reasons,” leading to him publishing the beginning of his theories the same year as the King James Bible comes out, which absolutely does not support what these men are proposing.
Sir Isaac Newton – Last of the Magicians
Newton’s claim to fame is essentially that he gave the pseudoscientific theory of Gravity that convinced the world of the globe earth theory. He has been thoroughly debunked.
“Have not the small particles of bodies certain powers, virtues, or forces by which they act at a distance? what I call attraction may be performed by impulse or by some other means unknown to me?”
~Newton
This clearly shows even Newton couldn’t frame a satisfactory theory of gravitative action.
“That one body may act upon another at a distance through a vacuum, without the mediation of any thing else, by and through which their action and force may be conveyed from one to another, is to me so great an absurdity, that I believe no man, who has in philosophical matters a compentent faculty of thinking, can ever fall into it.”
~Sir Isaac Newton, Florian Cajori (1946). “Sir Isaac Newton’s Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy and His System of the World”, p.636, Univ of California Press
Newton Translated Hermes’s “Emerald Tablets of Thoth” which speaks to the pagan sun-centric religious beliefs.
Isaac Newton produced many works that would now be classified as occult studies. These works explored chronology, alchemy, and Biblical interpretation (especially of the Apocalypse). Newton’s scientific work may have been of lesser personal importance to him, as he placed emphasis on rediscovering the occult wisdom of the ancients. In this sense, some[1] believe that any reference to a “Newtonian Worldview” as being purely mechanical in nature is somewhat inaccurate.
After purchasing and studying Newton’s alchemical works in 1942, economist John Maynard Keynes, for example, opined that “Newton was not the first of the age of reason, he was the last of the magicians”. In the Early Modern Period of Newton’s lifetime, the educated embraced a world view different from that of later centuries. Distinctions between science, superstition, and pseudoscience were still being formulated, and a devoutly Christian Biblical perspective permeated Western culture.
“Newton and secret societies
Isaac Newton has often been associated with various secret societies and fraternal orders throughout history. Due to the secretive nature of such organizations, lack of supportive publicized material, and dubious motives for claiming Newton’s participation in these groups, it is difficult to establish his actual membership in any specific organization.[25]
Regardless of his own membership status, Newton was a known associate of many individuals who themselves have often been labeled as members of various esoteric groups. It is unclear if these associations were a result of his being a well established and prominently publicized scholar, an early member and sitting President of The Royal Society (1703–1727), a prominent figure of State and Master of the Mint, a recognized Knight, or if Newton actually sought active membership within these esoteric organizations himself. Considering the nature and legality of alchemical practices during his lifetime, as well as his possession of various materials and manuscripts pertaining to alchemical research, Newton may very well have been a member of a group of like minded thinkers and colleagues. The organized level of this group (if in fact any existed), the level of their secrecy, as well as the depth of Newton’s involvement within them, remains unclear.
Though Newton was largely considered a reclusive personality and not prone to socializing, during his lifetime being a member of “Societies” or “Clubs” was a very popular form of interpersonal networking. Considering his esteemed social status, it is probable that Newton would have had a least some contact with such groups at various levels. He was most certainly a member of The Royal Society of London for the Improvement of Natural Knowledge and the Spalding Gentlemen’s Society,[26][27] however, these are considered learned societies, not esoteric societies. Newton’s membership status within any particular secret society remains verifiably allusive and largely speculative, however, it still lends itself to popular sensationalism.”
~Gearing Up For Apollo: Part 1- Architects of a Spherical World
“Newton and The Rosicrucians
Isaac Newton would have a deep interest in not just their alchemical pursuits, but also their belief in esoteric truths of the ancient past and the belief in enlightened individuals with the ability to gain insight into nature, the physical universe, and the spiritual realm.[28]
At the time of his death, Isaac Newton had 169 books on the topic of alchemy in his personal library, and was believed to have considerably more books on this topic during his Cambridge years, though he may have sold them before moving to London in 1696. For its time, his was considered one of the finest alchemical libraries in the world. In his library, Newton left behind a heavily annotated personal copy of The Fame and Confession of the Fraternity R.C., by Thomas Vaughan which represents an English translation of The Rosicrucian Manifestos. Newton also possessed copies of Themis Aurea and Symbola Aurea Mensae Duodecium by the learned alchemist Michael Maier, both of which are significant early books about the Rosicrucian movement. These books were also extensively annotated by Newton.[28]
Newton’s ownership of these materials by no means denotes membership within any early Rosicrucian order. Furthermore, considering that his personal alchemical investigations were focused upon discovering materials which the Rosicrucians professed to already be in possession of long before he was born, would seem to some to exclude Newton from their membership. However, in religious terms, the fact that a saint might have ‘found God’ would not preclude others from the search — quite the opposite. The Ancient & Mystical Order Rosae Crucis has always claimed Newton as a frater.[29] During his own life, Newton was openly ‘accused’ of being a Rosicrucian, as were many members of The Royal Society.[30] Though it is not known for sure if Isaac Newton was in fact a Rosicrucian, and he never publicly identified himself as one, from his writings it does appear that he may have shared many of their sentiments and beliefs.

“Excerpts from Chapter 3 of the book, Isaac Newton’s Freemasonry: The Alchemy of Science and Mysticism by Alain Bauer
Loup Verlet writes of the conditions of the “miraculous” discovery of Newton’s unpublished manuscripts. Put in a stack in 1696 when he was leaving the directorship of the mint in London, they escaped the burning of his personal documents arranged just after his death. They were discovered two centuries later and put up at auction in 1936. John Maynard Keynes won the manuscripts and revealed that Newton was not only the “first physicist” but also the “last magician.” The haul included several alchemical works, the bulk of them now at Cambridge, some at the University of Jerusalem, and others in private collections. According to Verlet, Newton’s known work comprises 1.4 million words relating to theology, 550,000 on alchemy, 150,000 on monetary affairs, and one million on scientific problems.”

Isabelle Stengers writes that Newton affirmed: “I do not feign hypotheses, I stick to phenomena.” This did not hinder his speculative theories, and placed him in contrast with the “contemplative” Galileo.
* * *
“In 1669, according to Richard Westfall, Newton immersed himself in alchemical literature. Betty Jo Teeter Dobbs affirms that “Newton read virtually everything alchemical that had ever been published, and a good many things that had not.” Numerous manuscripts from Hartlib’s circle were copied by Newton himself. His friend Robert Boyle served him as a link to other circles of Rosicrucians and alchemists. Elias Ashmole did the same in writing his Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum (published in 1652).
Newton even devised an anagram of his name as a pseudonym (Isaacus Neuutonus becoming Jeova sanctus unus), which allowed him to exchange manuscripts with his correspondents while remaining anonymous, despite widespread speculation. In Newton’s personal archives, a great many manuscripts have been found with lengthy annotations: Philalethes’ Secrets Reveal’d from 1669, Sendivogius’ Novum Lumen Chymicum, Espagnet’s Arcanum hermeticae philosophiae, Maier’s Symbola aureae mensae duodecim, the Opera of George Ripley (the great English alchemist), Basil Valentine’s Triumphal Chariot of Antimony. Most of these are preserved at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Lamarck, Lyell, and Darwin: Evolution
It is in this time period that a man named Charles Lyell rises to fame for calling the Biblical timeline of Creation into question with the publication of his book, Principles of Geology.
Lyell
Sir Charles Lyell, 1st Baronet, FRS (14 November 1797 – 22 February 1875) was a British lawyer and the foremost geologist of his day. He is best known as the author of Principles of Geology, which popularized James Hutton‘s concepts of uniformitarianism—the idea that the Earth was shaped by the same processes still in operation today. Principles of Geology also challenged theories popularized by Georges Cuvier, which were the most accepted and circulated ideas about geology in England at the time.[1]
His scientific contributions included an explanation of earthquakes, the theory of gradual “backed up-building” of volcanoes, and in stratigraphy the division of the Tertiary period into the Pliocene, Miocene, and Eocene. He also coined the currently-used names for geological eras, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic. He wrongly conjectured that icebergs might transport glacial erratics, and that silty loess deposits might have settled out of flood waters.
Lyell was one of the first to believe that the world is older than 300 million years, on the basis of its geological anomalies. He was a close friend of Charles Darwin, and contributed significantly to Darwin’s thinking on the processes involved in evolution. He helped to arrange the simultaneous publication in 1858 of papers by Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace on natural selection, despite his personal religious qualms about the theory. He later published evidence from geology of the time man had existed on Earth.
Lyell first received a copy of one of Lamarck‘s books from Mantell in 1827, when he was on circuit. He thanked Mantell in a letter which includes this enthusiastic passage:
- “I devoured Lamark… his theories delighted me… I am glad that he has been courageous enough and logical enough to admit that his argument, if pushed as far as it must go, if worth anything, would prove that men may have come from the Ourang-Outang. But after all, what changes species may really undergo!… That the Earth is quite as old as he supposes, has long been my creed…”[21]
In the second volume of the first edition of Principles Lyell explicitly rejected the mechanism of Lamark on the transmutation of species, and was doubtful whether species were mutable.[22]However, privately, in letters, he was more open to the possibility of evolution:
- “If I had stated… the possibility of the introduction or origination of fresh species being a natural, in contradistinction to a miraculous process, I should have raised a host of prejudices against me, which are unfortunately opposed at every step to any philosopher who attempts to address the public on these mysterious subjects”.[23]
This letter makes it clear that his equivocation on evolution was, at least at first, a deliberate tactic. As a result of his letters and, no doubt, personal conversations, Huxley and Haeckel were convinced that, at the time he wrote Principles, he believed new species had arisen by natural methods. Both Whewell and Sedgwick wrote worried letters to him about this.[24]
Later, Darwin became a close personal friend, and Lyell was one of the first scientists to support On the Origin of Species, though he did not subscribe to all its contents. Lyell was also a friend of Darwin’s closest colleagues, Hookerand Huxley, but unlike them he struggled to square his religious beliefs with evolution. This inner struggle has been much commented on. He had particular difficulty in believing in natural selection as the main motive force in evolution.[25][26][27]
Lyell and Hooker were instrumental in arranging the peaceful co-publication of the theory of natural selection by Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace in 1858: each had arrived at the theory independently. Lyell’s data on stratigraphy were important because Darwin thought that populations of an organism changed slowly, requiring “geologic time”.
Although Lyell did not publicly accept evolution (descent with modification) at the time of writing the Principles,[28] after the Darwin–Wallace papers and the Origin Lyell wrote in his notebook:
- 3 May 1860: “Mr. Darwin has written a work which will constitute an era in geology & natural history to show that… the descendants of common parents may become in the course of ages so unlike each other as to be entitled to rank as a distinct species, from each other or from some of their progenitors”.[29]
Lyell’s acceptance of natural selection, Darwin’s proposed mechanism for evolution, was equivocal, and came in the tenth edition of Principles.[4][30] The Antiquity of Man (published in early February 1863, just before Huxley’s Man’s place in nature) drew these comments from Darwin to Huxley:
- “I am fearfully disappointed at Lyell’s excessive caution” and “The book is a mere ‘digest’ “.[31]
Quite strong remarks: no doubt Darwin resented Lyell’s repeated suggestion that he owed a lot to Lamarck, whom he (Darwin) had always specifically rejected. Darwin’s daughter Henrietta (Etty) wrote to her father: “Is it fair that Lyell always calls your theory a modification of Lamarck’s?” [32][33]
In other respects Antiquity was a success. It sold well, and it “shattered the tacit agreement that mankind should be the sole preserve of theologians and historians”.[34] But when Lyell wrote that it remained a profound mystery how the huge gulf between man and beast could be bridged, Darwin wrote “Oh!” in the margin of his copy.[15]
So, Lyell was influenced by the likes of Lamarck and Hutton. And Darwin was influenced by Lyell and others who were, at the time, putting forth similar theories and ideas concerning essentially a Godless Creation.
Darwin
Charles Robert Darwin, FRS (/ˈdɑrwɪn/;[1] 12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882) was an English naturalist and geologist,[2] best known for his contributions to evolutionary theory.[I] He established that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors,[3] and in a joint publication with Alfred Russel Wallace introduced his scientific theory that this branching pattern of evolution resulted from a process that he called natural selection, in which the struggle for existence has a similar effect to the artificial selection involved in selective breeding.[4]
Darwin published his theory of evolution with compelling evidence in his 1859 book On the Origin of Species, overcoming scientific rejection of earlier concepts of transmutation of species.[5][6] By the 1870s the scientific community and much of the general public had accepted evolution as a fact. However, many favoured competing explanations and it was not until the emergence of the modern evolutionary synthesis from the 1930s to the 1950s that a broad consensus developed in which natural selection was the basic mechanism of evolution.[7][8] In modified form, Darwin’s scientific discovery is the unifying theory of the life sciences, explaining the diversity of life.[9][10]
Darwin’s early interest in nature led him to neglect his medical education at the University of Edinburgh; instead, he helped to investigate marine invertebrates. Studies at the University of Cambridge (Christ’s College) encouraged his passion for natural science.[11] His five-year voyage on HMS Beagle established him as an eminent geologist whose observations and theories supported Charles Lyell‘s uniformitarian ideas, and publication of his journal of the voyage made him famous as a popular author.[12]
Puzzled by the geographical distribution of wildlife and fossils he collected on the voyage, Darwin began detailed investigations and in 1838 conceived his theory of natural selection.[13] Although he discussed his ideas with several naturalists, he needed time for extensive research and his geological work had priority.[14] He was writing up his theory in 1858 when Alfred Russel Wallace sent him an essay which described the same idea, prompting immediate joint publication of both of their theories.[15] Darwin’s work established evolutionary descent with modification as the dominant scientific explanation of diversification in nature.[7] In 1871 he examinedhuman evolution and sexual selection in The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex, followed by The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals. His research on plants was published in a series of books, and in his final book, he examined earthworms and their effect on soil.[16]
Darwin became internationally famous, and his pre-eminence as a scientist was honoured by burial in Westminster Abbey.[17] Darwin has been described as one of the most influential figures in human history.[18]
Sadly his influence has caused the influence of the real hero of history, Yeshua (Jesus Christ), to have been diminished greatly. Darwin’s agnosticism came about as the result of no longer trusting in the Bible, which he had once believed.
Darwin’s family tradition was nonconformist Unitarianism, while his father and grandfather were freethinkers, and his baptism and boarding school were Church of England.[20] When going to Cambridge to become an Anglican clergyman, he did not doubt the literal truth of the Bible.[25] He learned John Herschel‘s science which, like William Paley‘s natural theology, sought explanations in laws of nature rather than miracles and saw adaptation of species as evidence of design.[27][28] On board the Beagle, Darwin was quite orthodox and would quote the Bible as an authority on morality.[169] He looked for “centres of creation” to explain distribution,[50] and related the antlion found near kangaroos to distinct “periods of Creation”.[52]
By his return he was critical of the Bible as history, and wondered why all religions should not be equally valid.[169] In the next few years, while intensively speculating on geology and transmutation of species, he gave much thought to religion and openly discussed this with his wife Emma, whose beliefs also came from intensive study and questioning.[87] The theodicy of Paley and Thomas Malthus vindicated evils such as starvation as a result of a benevolent creator’s laws which had an overall good effect. To Darwin, natural selection produced the good of adaptation but removed the need for design,[170] and he could not see the work of an omnipotent deity in all the pain and suffering such as the ichneumon wasp paralyzing caterpillars as live food for its eggs.[135] He still viewed organisms as perfectly adapted, and On the Origin of Species reflects theological views. Though he thought of religion as a tribal survival strategy, Darwin was reluctant to give up the idea of God as an ultimate lawgiver. He was increasingly troubled by the problem of evil.[171][172]
Darwin remained close friends with the vicar of Downe, John Brodie Innes, and continued to play a leading part in the parish work of the church,[173] but from around 1849 would go for a walk on Sundays while his family attended church.[168] He considered it “absurd to doubt that a man might be an ardent theist and an evolutionist”[174][175] and, though reticent about his religious views, in 1879 he wrote that “I have never been an atheist in the sense of denying the existence of a God. – I think that generally … an agnostic would be the most correct description of my state of mind.”[87][174]
The “Lady Hope Story“, published in 1915, claimed that Darwin had reverted to Christianity on his sickbed. The claims were repudiated by Darwin’s children and have been dismissed as false by historians.[176]

Young Earth Shows Sudden Changes
Del Tackett, DM ˙ Mount St. Helens
Many people look at the earth and assume uniform processes acted over long ages to form what we see around us. Yet Mount St. Helens reveals how major
catastrophes can quickly create geological formations. It also shows how eyewitness accounts are necessary to understand what happened in the past. The book of
Genesis lays out a clear history of the earth, although many people do not accept it as an accurate witness. Is it truly history?

What do the Rocks Tell Us?
Steven Austin, PhD (Geologist) ˙ Grand Canyon
The greatest catastrophe recorded in the Bible is the Flood. Such an event would have transformed everything on the earth’s surface and left an enormous amount of residue. That is what we see when we look at the layers of sedimentary rock that cover the planet. There are huge megasequences that stretch across continents stacked one on top of the other; there are countless marine fossils in those sedimentary rock layers; and there is evidence of major erosion on the earth from the advance and retreat of the flood waters. These evidences, and many more, point to a major catastrophe in the earth’s past just as the Bible records.

How Do You Measure Time?
Andrew Snelling, PhD (Geologist) ˙ SP Crater & Sedona, Arizona
If the Bible presents a concise timeline of history, where does the idea of millions of years come from? Geologists like Charles Lyell wanted to replace the
history recorded in Genesis with a naturalistic history of their own construction. They started with the idea of long ages, then interpreted the rocks in light of their new paradigm. Today, geologists rely on measuring radioisotope decay and interpret its results in terms of the conventional paradigm. Yet anomalies in these dating methods question these conclusions. Instead, one can look at geological formations to see evidence of a young earth transformed by a global catastrophe: the flat and enormous extent of sedimentary layers; a lack of deep and widespread erosion between most layers; and evidence that sediment was rapidly deposited by huge amounts of water.
“The Bible would say that the past is the key to the present.”

A Brief History of the World
Kurt Wise, PhD (Paleontologist) ˙ Pocket Wilderness, Dayton, TN
The Creation of the universe in six normal days was the first epoch. During that period, God rapidly created everything in a miraculous, unrepeatable fashion. The Edenian epoch followed with Adam and Eve living in the garden of Eden. It is impossible to understand the setup of the laws of the universe since death had not entered the world. With the Fall, God cursed the creation and changed those universal laws. The children of Adam lived in the Ante-Diluvian epoch, a world with a very different arrangement and variety of organisms compared to our world today. The Flood destroyed everything. The Post-Flood epoch was therefore marked by a series of unique environments as the earth settled down from the global catastrophe. Before and during the Ice Age, the world recovered to the Modern epoch. We can now only look into the Bible and the rocks to see evidence of those prior worlds.
“The Bible lays out what I would call epochs of earth history.”

The Origin of Fossils
Marcus Ross, PhD (Paleontologist) ˙ Discovery Park of America
There are billions of fossils in the earth. Most are from animals that lived in the Ante-Diluvian epoch before the Flood, but some are from the
Post-Flood epoch when the world was recovering from the global catastrophe. During the Flood, as huge tidal waves pulsed back and forth over the existing continents, different types of sediment and ecosystems were picked up, carried, then deposited in massive layers on top of each other. The presence of marine
fossils on the continents, the sudden appearance of complex fossils in the lowest Cambrian layers, the widespread extent of fossilization, and the pattern of trackways (footprints) below body fossils, all point to the record in Genesis where God said He was going to wipe out a violent earth with a global flood.
“Man and all of the animals over which we ruled were judged at the time of the Flood.”

When Dinosaurs Walked the Earth
Arthur Chadwick, PhD (Taphonomist) ˙ Hanson Ranch, Wyoming
An examination of an actual ‘bone bed’ reveals unique aspects that could only occur during a massive flood. A layer of mudstone 3 to 4 feet thick is spread over a 100-acre area and contains the remains of 5,000 to 10,000 large dinosaurs. Millions of bones are disarticulated (separated) and display a unique sorting process: they are in a graded bed with larger, heavier bones at the bottom and smaller, lighter bones at the top. This could only occur through a major, waterborne catastrophe. Evidence for these kinds of burials is seen throughout the fossil record, with animals suddenly appearing fully-formed, then disappearing from higher layers.
“We don’t ever see changes from this form into this form in the rocks themselves.”

Soft Tissue in Dinosaur Bones
Kevin Anderson, PhD (Microbiologist) ˙ Van Andel Creation Research Center
In 2005, soft tissue was discovered inside the femur of a dinosaur bone. More discoveries followed by other scientists. In 2012, Kevin Anderson and Mark Armitage dug out a large section of a triceratops brow horn in Montana. Although the normal process of finding soft tissue is through decalcification of the bone, when Mark opened up the horn, he discovered uncalcified soft tissue that was stretchy and pliable. Although surprising to everyone, the presence of these intact organic materials is better explained by the bones being only thousands rather than tens of millions of years old. These discoveries can be seen as a method of dating, but they challenge the concept of ‘deep time,’ a critical component of evolution.
“Clearly this is in violation of the dating process. It challenges the entire dating process.”

The Genius of Design
Robert Carter, PhD (Marine Biologist) ˙ Coral World, St. Thomas, USVI
Although evolutionary theory says all creatures descended from a common ancestor, when one looks at animals today (or in the fossil record), they appear to be unique creations with the ability to change to fit their environments. That ability to live and change is programmed in at the deepest levels of the
genome in ways we do not fully understand. What we do see is that the human genome works as a four-dimensional ‘computer’: our three billion letter sequence of DNA is able to turn sections of itself on and off; it is coiled into 3D fractal spheres where sections folded near each other combine to create new levels of information; and it changes shape over time to expose different areas of DNA needed to create tens of thousands of different proteins. This level of complexity is not just limited to the genome, but can be seen in the interdependent relationships between living creatures throughout every ecosystem in the world. Such highly-engineered structures and relationships can only exist if they are created simultaneously in a short space of time — which is exactly how Genesis says God
created everything.
“Life is so complex that small changes can’t explain it.”
—Robert Carter
The Potential of Created Kinds
Todd Wood, PhD (Biologist) ˙ Memphis Zoo
One of the conclusions of evolutionary theory is that natural selection working over millions of years formed all the diversity of life we see in the world. Genesis, however, says God created animals fully-formed “according to their kinds.” When one studies the similarities and differences of animals, a better explanation is that each created kind possesses enormous potential for genetic change. These changes within kinds have often been pointed to as arguments for evolution, but changes between kinds have not been observed. Instead of a single tree of life growing from a common ancestor, each created kind has its own unique tree forming an orchard of life. Humans are part of their own kind and include relatives like Neanderthals, but not extinct primates like Australopithecus. God made Adam and Eve in His image, and gave them the unique role of stewarding His creation.
“All we see are variations that happen within a created kind.”
—Todd Wood
The Purpose of the Stars
Danny Faulkner, PhD (Astronomer) ˙ Chino Valley, Arizona
Our sense of the passage of time is based on our relationship with the sun, moon, and stars. God put these celestial bodies in place on the fourth day of creation as providers of energy, sources of light, and consistent timekeepers. They are also a source of wonder for everyone who studies them, from the unique nature of solar eclipses, to the beauty of galaxies and nebulae, to the sheer immensity of space. The size of the universe and the distances between stars has led the conventional view to interpret the entire universe as very old, but scientists working within the Genesis paradigm have come up with different explanations for the presence of starlight, including rapidly bringing light to the earth on the fourth day. The truth is that no one theory seems to explain everything. Even the current cornerstone of the conventional paradigm, the Big Bang cosmology, has changed greatly during its 60-year history. More recently, it has been publicly rejected by hundreds of physicists and astronomers. The reality is that no scientific theory is able to penetrate exactly how God created the universe during the six days of the Creation epoch.
“We have some purposes given for the stars…to mark time, to rule over the night, to be for signs and seasons.”
—Danny Faulkner
